2281 Spartan

After being returned several times to the adoption group we are involved with (Racing Home Greyhound Adoption) in Phoenix, AZ we made "Spartan" a member of our family. Spartan is the half brother of another one of our greyhounds, Eagle. Spartan is very shy and very affectionate. He suffers from an eye disease called Panis which is treated daily with eyedrops. He is a wonderful boy and we love him very much! 2304 Montoya

This is Montoya. She's been a member of our family for a while now. She raced at Wheeling Downs Race Track in West Virginia which is one of the toughest tracks in the country. During her career she once ran a very swift 29.99 on the sprint course. Montoya suffered a very severe broken hock and was retired fairly young. Unfortunately, between the time of her surgery and her trek across the country to Arizona someone removed her cast too early and her leg was re-injured. Because of this blunder Montoya now can barely use one of her back legs and hops quite a bit. You would never know it though as she gets around very well and is very happy. She is a wonderful girl and we love her very much! Its hard for us to believe but our boy Eagle just turned 10 years old earlier this month. He has been a member of our family for 6 years and we love him more each and every day! Once all black he now shows his age but he is still young at heart! Two SB-800s, one hand held camera right and one on camera both thru Gary Fong Lightspheres. Another one of our family members, Montoya, is 9 1/2 years old. She still has lots of energy and although she limps due to a mishandled racing injury, she loves to run and play. She is a sweet girl and we love her so very much. Two SB-800s, one camera right and one on camera, both thru Gary Fong Lightspheres and controlled with Pocket Wizard TT5 transceivers. Image taken Sunday 06/09/2013 We added Spartan as a member of our family a few years ago. He was returned twice after being adopted because he has an eye disease called Pannus. He also had some extreme shyness issues that were hindering him from being adopted. He has been a model dog for us. He is shy but so very sweet and is extremely happy. We treat his eye disease with eyedrops and he is doing very well. We love "Sparty" very much.
